Las Vegas Vacation 2009

Rex and Rose went on a one week vacation to Las Vegas, NV with Nate and Kate Deaton. We have gone to Hoover Damn, Grand Canyon and The Strip! I have loaded some more pictures and still more yet to come!

Florida Military School Reunion

The FMS Reunion 2009 – “The Return of the Knights” It was great seeing everyone this week-end! There are more than 300 total pictures. Rex & Rose tour Washington, DC

Rex has been working every week up in Maryland. This week, instead of Rex flying home, Rose flew up to Maryland. We spent the week-end being tourists all over Washington, DC. By the end of the first day, we felt like we had walked the entire state! Click here to see pictures.
Our first day was spent getting used to the Metro system, visiting the different war monuments and a brief look at the museums. We quickly decided we needed more time than we had that day to see the museums. This day made me realize as an American, all the freedoms I take for granted every day are not free. Many have paid a very costly price, and I am not likely to forget any time soon.
Our second day was trying to see as many museums as we could and the last was our day to visit Arlington National Cemetary and the last of the museums. The Air & Space was our favorite, but the American Indian was very impressive as well.

Trip to Phoenix, AZ

On March 18th 2009 I was in Phoenix on business and stopped by the Botanical Gardens. It was a great day to photograph the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees! Corny but true! If you would like to see some of the pictures, click here!
