Alexa gets to go to LSU vs Gators

One of the things Alexa wanted to do during her visit to the United States was to see an American football game. We checked into taking her and the cost made it impossible. I got a call from Gary David and was told that his son Colt David (The number one scorer in LSU history) could get us tickets to the Gators vs LSU game. This was one of the highest ranked games of the day. We had a wonderful day. She was thrilled even before we got out of the car by the excitement of all of the fans. Rose, Ivona and Rex went to Atlanta to visit Scott and Dotsie. While we were there we saw the play Wicked! Spent a great afternoon wandering the north Georgia mountains. Great food, fun scenery and family!! See the pictures!

Jacksonville Air Show

Rose, Rex Kate and Nate went to the air show at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station and watched the Blue Angels. It was a beutiful day and a beautiful show! Seem more pictures here!

Mandarin Twins

Kennedy Space Center

The Riley Space Cadets, Rex, Rose, Ivona and Alexa went to the Kennedy Space center for the day. The weather was perfect and the experience was out of this world! Click the picture to the right see more of our day.

Rex visits Kings Canyon California

Rose lived in CA years ago, Kings Canyon was one of her favorite places. Rex recently had to go to Fresno, California for work and while he was there the took an afternoon and went to Kings Canyon, California just so his wife could visit again. The view was breath taking. Enjoy the pictures.

Ivona Goes to Atlanta, GA

Rex had to go to Atlanta for work, so Ivona went with him. They visited downtown, Stone Mouuntain and Scott and Dotsie Riley.

Sarah Comes for a visit!

Sarah Becker, one of our exchange students came back for a visit. During her visit we went to St. Augustine for a day and spent the night at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Amelia Island, FL. It was great to have her home!

Octoberfest 2008

Rose, Rex and Ivona went to Akron, Ohio for the annual Theisen Octoberfest Party and to see Ana, Steve, Kathy, Seth and all of the grandchildren.
